such a taboo...

in this day and time, it's almost impossible to find someone without a mobile phone. no no.. a smart phone! yeah, we are all so smart that we can no longer survive with just, "hello, goodbye" and plain sms-es.  we need to check our emails, BBM, WhatsApp, Twitter, Foursquare, Facebook, Google, YouTube..etc..  ahh!! the world of social media - just can't do without it. being disconnected is TABOO!! A BIG NO NO!!!!!

my valentine's story..

of late, we read in the papers and hear in the news that "valentine's day" is sinful.. illegal...etc.... stating that it's a day where people sin and get involved in immoral activities. you know what i think? BOLLOCKS!! 

the moment dad threw the bomb!

time flies! time really flies!! still fresh in my head, the night i was counting down saying good bye to 2010 welcoming 2011 with open arms. and now, january is over and we are celebrating chinese new year!! time does pass in a blink of an eye. anyways....

as many of you would have known, in the pass couple of years i have always dreaded chinese new year. why? because, while chinese new year is a time when we gather with loved ones ... that is also when uncles, aunties, near or far relatives and friends whom we haven't met for a bit appears! no, their appearance don't scare me, but for me it is the many questions that freaks me out. last year, i avoided chinese new year altogether for fear of being asked questions i don't want to answer.

this christmas...

a month back, i wrote and i asked, is there still magic in christmas?  there were things which i was supposed to do, which didn't happen due to my busy schedule. as days, went by i forgot about christmas. i decided that it was just going to be another day for me. how very wrong was i....

one month to go, and soon it will be christmas. it's written everywhere. as u walked in the streets, when u walk in the malls, christmas decorations are everywhere. is there still magic in christmas, really? deep down inside i don't know.......
